XXVIII Scientific Conference on Advances in Oncological Gynecology
We would like to invite you to the annual Scientific Conference "Advances in Oncological Gynecology", this will be our XXVIII meeting, which will take place on September 26-27, 2024 at the Bachleda Hotel Kasprowy in Zakopane.
We will start the meeting with an inaugural lecture devoted to Dr. Andrzej Chramiec - the first highlander who became a doctor and the progress of knowledge in the field of oncological gynecology that has been made in the last 150 years. The main theme of the Conference is comprehensive care for our patients. Both in terms of prevention, diagnostics and therapy. There is one patient, there are different stages of the disease and diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities. We have invited expert lecturers in the field of oncological prevention, imaging and molecular diagnostics, as well as outstanding operators, chemotherapeutics and radiotherapists. Thanks to the invited guests and lecturers, we would like to present the entire spectrum of possibilities of modern oncological gynecology. In the first session, we will refer to last year's Conference, through invited guests and lecturers, who will summarize the last year in the implementation of the National Oncology Strategy and the National Oncology Network.
The conference will be preceded by Thursday's workshops on surgical techniques in gynecological oncology and the possibilities of radiotherapy and chemotherapy. On Thursday, together with the District Chamber of Nurses and Midwives in Krakow, we are planning a session devoted to the role of this professional group in the care and treatment of wounds and participation in robotic surgeries.
The conference is addressed to colleagues gynecologists, obstetricians and gynecological oncologists, chemotherapeutics, radiotherapists, radiologists. Currently, in gynecological oncology, a team approach and good communication between individual team members are so important, which will be able to ensure improvement in the effects of the work of individual team members and will allow for improvement in treatment results and the level of Polish gynecological oncology.
Once again we invite you to Zakopane under the Tarta Mountains, September is a magical time when the mountains are covered in autumn colors and take on a unique charm. We would like to create an opportunity for you to have an unrestricted discussion with the active participation of experts, specialists, and medical practitioners. We are convinced that comfortable local conditions and the attractive location of the Conference Center will help you endure the hardships of our Conference more easily. We hope that it will also be an opportunity to renew old friendships, but also to build new ones.
